This South Korean thriller/drama series takes place in modern times where people with outstanding debt compete for a prize of 45.6 billion won (approx. $38 million USD) by participating in children's games--with a deadly twist. Squid Game released September 17th, 2021 and has over 111 million views as of October 2021.
